Dr. Cristin Carter

PT, DPT. Cert VT
Physical Therapist

I am originally from Indiana where I attended Huntington University and played collegiate softball. I then attended University of Dayton in Ohio for Physical Therapy school. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

I have been a Physical Therapist since 2019, treating a variety of diagnoses in the outpatient orthopedic setting. I am certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling and have been a Certified Vestibular Therapist since 2022, treating vertigo, vestibular hypofunction, and concussions.

My core values are: Believe in yourself and chase your dreams. Always find joy in the little things.

I’m passionate about working with patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological diagnoses, with my primary focus being neck, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle/foot, vertigo, and balance. I strive to actively listen to each patient’s complaints and create an individualized rehabilitation plan in order to meet your goals and return to your prior level of function pain free.

When I’m not working I love spending time outside hiking in the Smokies. My current bucket list item is to go to each national park in the US. I also enjoy kayaking/paddle boarding, rock climbing, playing with my adorable pup, Paisley, and playing sand volleyball. You can find me at any UT sporting event. Go Vols!
