Episode 20: “Stronger Bones, Stronger You” with Dee Matchett

June 22, 2020

I’m super excited about having Dee Matchett on the latest episode of Stay Healthy Knoxviile. We had the opportunity to discuss how you can improve your bone health through osteogenic loading.  It is an exciting and informative podcast highlighting the importance of keeping your bones strong and how you can achieve a stronger you, naturally- by means of osteogenic loading.

Listen to the podcast episode to find out more about:

  1. What is osteogenic loading?
  2. How did the OsteoStrong method develop?
  3. How is the osteogenic loading different than taking medications for bone loss? Can people do both?
  4. How do you measure improvement?
  5. How else do you address fracture prevention?
  6. Who else can benefit from osteogenic loading?
  7. Is osteoporosis more prevalent now that in the past?

In pursuit of Dee’s passion to help herself and others prevent or reverse bone loss- she was introduced to OsteoStrong. OsteoStrong is a safe, natural, proven way to increase bone density without the potentially harmful effects of medication. Dee serves as a volunteer peer educator for American Bone Health, a member of the Knoxville Senior Safety Task Force, a sponsor of FHS Health Occupations Students of America chapter, and a volunteer instructor at ORICL where she teaches a community education course called “Good News for Bones.”  We are lucky to have her in our community as well as on this months podcast.

Dee is offering the Simply Physio and Stay Healthy Knoxville Community an amazing opportunity to test out OsteoStrong for free. Mention that you heard about OsteoStrong from the Stay Healthy Podcast and you are eligible for a free bone density screening  & evaluation and a BtrackSystem balance test. In addition you will receive 2 osteogenic loading sessions.

Come experience osteogenic loading for yourself and asses how osteogenic loading can benefit you and whether you are a good candidate for the program.
